LINUS EKLOF
Age: 21.
Born:  March 3, 1989, Torshalla, Sweden.

Will be the Panthers' official number eight in 2010, having joined on a two-way contract with his parent track King's Lynn.

Helped the Stars to win the Premier League treble in 2009, playing a major part in their success after joining them as a replacement for the injured Christian Henry in May.

While he used to watch at his local Eskilstuna track as a schoolboy he was more interested in moto-cross and didn't switch to the shale until he was 13, following his younger brother Rasmus into 80 cc racing.

Moved up to the seniors (500 cc) after three seasons and spent time in the Swedish First Division (third tier) before moving into the ElitSerien and All-Svenskan League in 2006 with Smederna and Team Bikab respectively.

Reached the semi final of the European Under 19 Championship in 2007 before a big breakthrough on the international scene the following season.

He was eighth in 2008 European Under 19 Championship;  top scored in Sweden's gold medal winning Under 19 Team Final squad; was crowned Nordic Under 21 Champion; and reached the semi final of the World Under 21 Championship.

Last season he rode for his country in the World Under 21 Team Cup Final - the Swedes were third behind Poland - and lost a run-off with Poland's Michal Mitko in the World Under 21 Championship semi final in Hungary as well as finishing fifth in the Swedish Under 21 Final.

Has had limited experience in Poland with Gniezno, helping them get promoted from the Second League to the First League at the end of 2008. Rode in only three matches in 2009 but averaged over six points a meeting.

In Sweden he rode in  eight matches for top-flight Smederna before they closed down because of financial problems and four meetings for All-Svenskan Griparna.

Peterborough Debut: Has not yet ridden for the club.
