THE countdown to the new season has already begun – and no-one can wait for the first taste of action at the East of England Showground.

But before we get underway you have a chance to meet our exciting young side and a sneak preview of the new team kevlars at a Welcome to 2010 Night on Sunday, March 7.

It is in the Henry Royce Suite at the Marriott Hotel, starting at 7.30 pm and going on late.

All the riders – including our big winter signings – will be there and it promises to be a fun evening – with the Sparkarama Disco providing the beat.

It’s going to be a great night out!

The following day (Monday, March 8) is the traditional Press and Practice and then we have our Grand 2010 opening on Monday, March 15 (tapes-up 7.30 pm) with a 40th Anniversary Challenge against a hand-picked international squad of old favourites and, hopefully, some new faces.

Make a note of all three dates in your diary.
