GYM’LL FIX IT
LEWIS Bridger insists he will be fitter than ever going into his first season as a Panther.

The British Under 21 Champion will make his Peterborough debut in the opening match of the new season on Monday, March 15.

And he has revealed that he has been working out all winter to be in tip-top condition when the tapes go up.

He said: “Every day I train at the gym, run and ride on my motocross bike.

“I’ve also been doing various martial arts. I’m active all the time.”

GB World Cup star Bridger, on loan for the season from Elite League rivals Eastbourne, has also taken on a new pits crew to help him make a flying start to his Showground career.

He added: “I’m getting my equipment and team ready. In the winter break, I’ve made many changes.

“I want to be getting better. I’ve taken on some good mechanics who will help me with this.”
