KENNETH Bjerre will have a new face in his pits crew this season.

Tom P. Madsen, who announced his retirement from racing at the end of last year, has joined the Bjerre camp.

Madsen, who has a British base near King’s Lynn, rode for Stoke last season but decided to hang up his kevlars after an 11-season UK career.

He will join Kenneth’s existing team and will be a regular at both his league meetings and at Grand Prix rounds.

Kenneth said: “I’m incredibly happy that Tom will be on my team.”

Madsen will also offer advice and help to Kenneth’s younger brother Lasse who makes his British racing debut in the Panthers’ opening meeting of the new season on Monday, March 15.
