WINTER capture Ricky Wallace had no idea he was joining an Aussie revolution when he signed for the Readypower Panthers.


But he is pleasantly surprised to be joining so many of his compatriots at the East of England Showground.
Wallace, 21, is linking up with fellow Australians Troy Batchelor, Dakota North and Taylor Poole but admits he didn’t have a clue when he agreed to sign for the Panthers;
“When I signed I didn’t know that Dak, Troy and Taylor had signed as well.
“I only found out recently that there were a few of us but it’s pretty cool.
“I don’t know any of the guys that well but I’m sure we’ll get to know each other better during the season.
“It was a nice surprise finding out I’ve got some fellow Aussies around!”
Ricky will be very much in the Panthers’ fold this year as he will be part of Lewis Bridger’s pit crew, and he also hopes to have a team place of his own lined up.
