SCB TURN DOWN ADAM PLEA
THE Speedway Control Bureau have turned down Peterborough’s plea to allow Adam Roynon to double-up this season.

The Readypower Panthers management will not be making any official comment until they have received the formal decision in writing.

Peterborough’s plea was backed up by Great Britain manager Rob Lyon who wrote a letter in support of him being allowed to race in both the Premier League and Elite League in 2010.

He had been refused permission to double up because he did not ride in the 2009 Premier League, having been ruled out when he suffered serious head and neck injuries while at a pre-season GB training camp.
