DAKOTA TOUCHES DOWN
WINTER signing Dakota North has landed in the UK, after a gruelling flight from his home in Australia.

Dak and father Rod, a former racer himself, touched down at Heathrow Airport on Thursday morning and made their way to Exeter.

They will be staying with at former Aussie team manager Neil Street’s home on the outskirts of the Devon city, until Dak moves to Peterborough.

Neil is, of course, Panthers’ legend Jason Crump’s grandfather.

Dak will be riding for Premier League outfit Newcastle this year, alongside fellow Panther Rene Bach.

He is the second of our Aussie starlets to arrive in Britain, with Ricky Wallace already here.

Both Dakota and Rod will be in attendance at our Meet the 2010 Team Night on Sunday (March 7) at the Marriott Hotel, starting at 7.30pm.

Report: Josh GUDGEON.
