TAYLOR Nicholas POOLE

Pledged his future to Peterborough during the winter after turning down offers from a handful of other Elite and Premier League clubs.

Has been farmed out to Premier League Stoke for experience although he is expected to feature regularly on the East of England programme.

Caught the eye with a string of superb performance for National League Mildenhall towards the end of last year while on a holiday visa.

After finishing runner-up to Ryan Sedgmen in the 2006 Australian Under 16 Championship he rode in the FIM World Youth Gold Cup and finished fifth in the final.

Made his debut for National League Mildenhall at home to Weymouth on August 23 and immediately caught the eye.

Scored his first maximum for the Fen Tigers in the National Trophy against the Isle of Wight on September 27 in only his seventh match in Britain.

Went on to win Sheffield's Young Gun individual meeting early in October.

Son of former Peterborough star Mick Poole who rode in 217 matches for the Panthers in a seven-season Alwalton career (1985, 1988-90, 1992-93, 1995). Also rode in the Second Division for Oxford (1994) and had Division One outings for King's Lynn, Ipswich, Reading and Poole before returning to the Panthers in their first Division One season in 1995.
